Shudder, this makes me happy even though I’ve never been in a canoe before. Sigh…

I’m a sucker for shetlands! Look at the clearance on that jump. Okay so the jump is less than a foot off the ground and the shetland is only pint sized but imagine if both jump and pony were enlarged about 10 times. If this pony was a horse he would be an olympic equine or…um something like that.

Saw the Uffington White Horse yesterday, gorgeous views at the top of the hill. The horse was a bit faded. The scheduled re-chalking yesterday was cancelled. I want to return once it’s been re-chalked.
Good walk, I passed dogwalkers along with the standard dose of robe wearing pagan/druids/wicans out celebrating spring with their ribbons.
Passed hoof prints on the way up the hill and saw a rider on a bay heading towards the chalk horse and then on down the hill.
Drove around Uffington village and saw lots of thatched roof cottages. A palomino pony and gig drove past the pub we ate lunch at. Lunch was a bit tense, I don’t like feeling like a tourist, not that I was alone, I’m sure everyone else was too but it still felt weird to me.
One of these days. It’s still on my list.
