Allen Ginsberg talks about inspiration for his poems and how he kept journals to keep an awareness of everyday mind.
Allen Ginsberg (by GottfriedGeist)
I’ve just been writing the synopsis for my children’s book so that I can pitch it to an agent. It’s certainly not my favourite thing to do but I’ve been plugging away at it anyway and it’s been getting dark as I type. The birds have been singing in the fading light. Something made me look out the window and I saw the most gorgeous bone coloured, full moon rise up above the rooftops of the cottages. It gave me such a feeling of hope. It really made me feel like I could get the job done and really get somewhere with this. Now if I could just have a beautiful view like this every time I write, I’d be published in no time. ;-)
